My name is Jolanda and I am Dutch. I have lived in Italy since 1986 and in Vittorio Veneto since 1993.
Although it is not always easy to live in Italy, I have never regretted it.
I am really fortunate where I have ended up, for love. It’s so beautiful here and I always ask myself “ Why is this area so “unknown” compared to other places.
Every day when I look around me I feel like a happy person. I love walking and I don’t even have to take the car to hike in the Prosecco Hills. I take beautiful walks here, often accompanied by my dog. When I look out of my window I see the mountains that are part of the Dolomites. Driving up it takes about 30/40 minutes where you can make beautiful mountain or forest walks, I still haven’t done them all.
Near me (10/15 minutes by car) there are 3 lakes, in all three you can swim and summer is pleasantly busy and certainly during the week you can just drop your car. The center is very nice, it has many bars and restaurants, so I really have everything my heart desires and you will certainly not find it surprising that I feel so at home in this place. I would like to take you with me and hope that you will like it as much as I do.
