CISON DI VALMARINO VIE DELL AQUA
We are in Cison di Valmarino, 14 kilometres from Vittorio Veneto. We will find a parking place for the car in the car park which is 300 meters from the start of the path. We pass through the center of Cison, shortly after the square, in the direction of the castle we cross the bridge on the right where we find the first indication for this well-maintained and suggestive path. The path will take us to the wood of the “penne mozze” along the beautiful trail of the Rujo river.As we walk along it, we can admire numerous small waterfalls and beautiful plants and flowers, as well as original sculptures and famous citations.
The route is totally immersed in nature… streams, small bridges and enchanting views will give you moments of great serenity in contact with nature. In about an hour and a half you will reach the “bosco delle penne mozze”, a memorial to the Alpine soldiers. Here we find the Pizzeria “Solo Mattia”. a restaurant which is really well looked after. For the weekend I recommend booking.
This walk is very suitable for children (no buggies) who will certainly have a lot of fun and for your dogs. The path is easy and the climbs are gentle, the difference in height is 180 meters and the route is not long, going and coming back are more or less 3 kilometers. Really worth it especially on a hot day because of the trees it will offer you the freshness you need.
